Goats were distributed By Dakbhanga Bangladesh to the parents of poor students of Dakbhanga and Moishkum Primary School

Goats have been distributed to the parents of poor students of Dakbhanga and Moishkum Osman Sarwar Primary School to support to continue the study of the students of their families by the voluntary organization Dakbhanga Bangladesh in Kawarkhop and Dakbhanga village of Kawarkhop and Kachhpia Union of Ramu Upazila. The event was organized on Monday, April 10, 2023, in Kawarkhop Union’s Maishkum Osman Sarwar Primary School grounds of Kawarkhop union. The Country Representative of Dakbhanga Bangladesh Md. Masum Billah Khan, Project Coordinator Md. Jewel Talukder, Administrative Officer Golam Rabbani Khan, Head Teacher of Maishkum Osman Sarwar Primary School Abul Kalam, Deputy President of the Management Committee Mr Abdu Sukkur, Donor Member of the Management Committee of Dakbhanga Primary School Md. Habib Ullah,Teachers, Other management committee leaders and dignitaries of the area were also present in the program. Project coordinator Md. Jewel Talukder said – these goats have been distributed by the initiative of the American donor organization Global Giving to make the poor students school-going and their families self-reliant.

More than 400 students of these two schools were managed by Dakbhanga Bangladesh. All students of both schools were distributed notebooks, pens, staplers, pencils, coloured pencils and other educational materials. In Ramu Dakbhanga Bangladesh established two Non Govt. Berskari primary schools were established in remote areas of Moishkum in Kawarkhop Union and Dakbhanga villages in Kachhapiya Union. As a result, the poor children in those two villages and the surrounding villages are getting a chance to get quality education. The communities also now have the priority and awareness to send their children to school.
